Loud, energetic, passionate and diverse are just some of the many words that describe The Band Destiny.
Destiny is a Toronto based crossover band that was formed in 2007. A three time winner of the “Top Soca Band” award in Toronto, TBD is a band that is a force to be reckoned with. Together they create a fusion of music that incorporates genres like; Soca, Reggae, R&B, Chutney, Mainstream and Indian.
TBD not only brings their own energetic vibes to the stage, but also a positive energy allowing them to continuously excel in their performance. They have been blessed with the opportunity to perform for the carnivals in Vancouver, Toronto, Barrie, Vaughan, Montreal and Ottawa.
THE PROCESS
The Band Destiny is always making changes, and working together to perfect our craft! Here is a quick insider look into one of our band rehearsals!
TBD isn't just a band, we are a team.
We work together to prepare for performances and collectively optimize our talents to create music we all love! During summer and festival season we work on live musical arrangements, rehearsals and stage presence, and much more! In the off-season we work on improvements, excelling and part of that is through our rise in original music and released cover songs!

During the pandemic, there was a significant disconnect with the ability to have fun together and the promotion that music is universal. We strive to bring unity and togetherness back thorough our music and performances.
